スミソニアン協会は新しい”国立アフリカ系アメリカ人歴史文化博物館”（ワシントンD.C.）の最終選考を発表した。
博物館はワシントン・モールの端に位置し、この場所の最新の増築となる。デザインコンセプトはキャッスルビルディングにて4/6まで展示され、選考員によって勝者が選ばれる。博物館は2015年までには開館され、建設費は500万ドルである。
